Slip Ring
Assemblies Illustrated are a standard design for winder and
rewind converting systems. The features that are offered
include the following:
-
Overall length of 19"
- Shaft
or adapter mounted to meet with your shaft size.
- Rotating terminal board, minimizes installation
time.
- Power
control and low level signals within same enclosure, up to
50 circuits.
- Use of
ball bearings, not composite material.
- Vector
drives (AC) circuits isolated within enclosure. ELiminated
harmonic interference to encoder signals.
- Low
capacitance circuits provide an excellent square wave
signal.

Unit illustrated
also used for winder/unwind applications with an additional
feature that includes the mounting of a resolver or encoder
directly in line with slip ring drive, less the use of a
sprocket and drive belt, zero backlash.

Units illustrated
are compact in size, containing (4) or (6) circuits rated @ 20
Amps. Present applications are for heater and thermocouple
circuits used on conveyor lines in the baking industry. (Bore
sizes .750" to 1.000" dia.)
